Play Like You Own The Place

That’s right. Become an owner in Whitefish…literally!

Become an owner of Whitefish Golf Club

One of the unique differences of Whitefish from other local courses, is you can become an actual owner of the course. We believe that our shareholders become a loyal group of members who return year-after-year to enjoy the club and all it offers.

At Whitefish, the General Manager and its elected 9-member Board of Directors, are tasked with providing a quality golf club experience. Through the management of the available financial resources, the Board, in conjunction with the General Manager, prioritize the use of those available financial resources solely for the betterment of the golf experience for all who play the course.

Benefits to becoming a Shareholder at Whitefish Golf Club

The benefit to a Shareholder, is you get to enjoy golf course privileges at a discounted rate. You and your playing guests receive a 20% discount on the daily rate. Additionally, as a Shareholder, you are invited to attend the Annual Shareholder Meeting so you can hear from the Board and General Manager recaps of the season, current financial status, as well as future plans for course and facility improvements.

Price of Shares

Currently, the price per share is $100. We require a minimum of 5 shares ($500) for a single shareholder membership and 10 shares ($1,000) minimum for a family membership. This is a one-time purchase.

Yearly Shareholder Member benefits

At the beginning of the year, you will receive membership signup information detailing that year’s dues. We conduct an early-bird membership drive that provides a discount for sign-up by March 1st. Shareholders, under the early-bird sign-up, receive a membership discount ranging from $200 to over $400 based on the type of membership (single, couple, junior, twilight, etc.) versus a non-shareholder.

How quickly will you recoup your investment as a Shareholder

Based solely on the early bird discounts, a single shareholder will recoup the $500 investment in 2 ½ years. A couple would recoup their $1000 investment in 3 years.

How do I redeem my shares if I no longer wish to continue being a Shareholder

We know that we all have changes in our lives, and we all hope they continue to be positive ones. Should you wish to end your shareholder position with Whitefish Golf Club, we have developed a Shareholder Redemption Plan. The details are noted below this information.
